Christian Faith Is Essential. Ordination Is Not.
Voting directors are expected to personally affirm the Christian faith, uphold the authority of Scripture, and support the organization’s Statement of Faith. We value the diverse professional callings through which Christian leaders serve.
Meaningful Service. Shared Accountability.
Board membership carries real responsibilities. Our expectations are designed to foster engaged governance and a culture of both personal giving and active fundraising.
Participation
- Dedicate approximately 5–10 hours per month.
- Attend at least one organizational event annually and participate in board retreats for deeper engagement and strategic planning.
- Participate in orientation, committees, and governance development.
Stewardship
- Make the annual personal contribution and actively participate in fundraising.
- Maintain confidentiality and disclose conflicts of interest.
- Exercise independent judgment and uphold fiduciary responsibilities.
Financial expectations are subject to formal adoption by the governing board. Special meetings may be called as authorized by the bylaws.

A Thoughtful Path to Board Service
Our process is designed to encourage thoughtful consideration and mutual alignment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Apply
Submit the application sharing your background, expertise, and interest in serving.
Review & Interview
Applications are reviewed within 2–4 weeks. Selected candidates interview with the board selection committee in one or two rounds.
Formal Review
Provide professional references, complete a background check, and affirm the Statement of Faith and governance commitments.
Board Consideration
Candidates are notified within 30 days of their interview. Appointments follow the organization’s bylaws.
Orientation
New directors participate in an orientation introducing the ministry’s mission, values, organizational structure, and goals.
